Data we process

  • Aggregated visit statistics: page views counted per day and per language, with no IP address, no cookies and no individual profiling.
  • Email contact: if you write to the address provided, your message is handled directly in the owner's mailbox and does not pass through this website.
  • Server technical logs (including IP address) generated by the hosting provider for security and diagnostics.

Cookies

This website is a simple showcase and sets no cookies of its own: neither technical session cookies, nor profiling, analytics or third-party cookies. No consent is therefore required. You can still block or delete cookies from your browser settings.

Legal bases

  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for aggregated statistics and the technical logs needed to run and protect the site.
  • Pre-contractual measures or legitimate interest to reply to enquiries sent by email.

We use no cookies requiring prior consent.

Recipients and processors

To run the service we rely on providers acting as data processors (Art. 28 GDPR):

  • Hostinger — website hosting and technical security logs.
  • Hostpoint — email service for contacts.

We do not sell or share data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data transfers

Data is processed within the European Union and/or Switzerland. Any transfer to third countries occurs only to providers offering adequate safeguards under Art. 44-49 GDPR.

Retention

Aggregated visit statistics are kept for up to about 24 months. Messages sent by email are kept for as long as needed to handle the request. Technical logs follow the hosting provider's retention periods.

Your rights

You may exercise at any time your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability (Art. 15-22 GDPR; equivalent rights under the nFADP) by writing to the owner's email address shown in the «Data controller» section. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali; in Switzerland, the FDPIC).

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice to reflect legal, technical or organisational changes. The version in force is always the one published on this page; please review it periodically.
